Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing or accessing any products from The Palms Magazine. By placing an order or accessing our digital content, you agree to be bound by these terms. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and comply with applicable UK consumer legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002.

2. Our Products
The Palms Magazine offers two types of products:
- Digital Digital Edition — A virtual flipbook or downloadable PDF of the magazine, accessible online immediately after purchase and payment confirmation.
- Print Print Edition — A physical printed copy of the magazine, dispatched to your specified delivery address.
Product descriptions, images, and pricing are displayed on our website and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to withdraw any product at any time.
3. Placing an Order
By placing an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase a product subject to these Terms and Conditions. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
After placing an order you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirmation is an acknowledgement of your order, not an acceptance. A contract between you and us is formed when we confirm dispatch (for print editions) or provide access to digital content.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where payment cannot be verified, where a product is unavailable, or where an error in pricing or description has occurred. In such cases, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund.
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable VAT where stated. We accept the following payment methods:
- Bank transfer (BACS)
- Credit and debit card (via our secure payment provider)
- Other methods displayed at checkout
For bank transfer payments, your order will be placed on hold until we confirm receipt of funds. Access to digital content or dispatch of print editions will occur only after payment has cleared. Please allow 1–3 business days for bank transfers to process.
We take reasonable care to ensure that prices on our website are correct. If we discover an error in the price of an order you have placed, we will contact you and give you the option to reconfirm your order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.
5. Digital Editions
DigitalThe following terms apply specifically to digital edition purchases:
- Digital editions are delivered as an online flipbook or downloadable file. Access details will be provided by email upon payment confirmation.
- Digital content is for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, broadcast, or share the content without our prior written consent.
- Access to digital content is granted to the purchasing individual only and must not be shared with third parties.
- We make reasonable efforts to ensure digital content is available and functional. We are not liable for temporary interruptions to access due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
- Digital files and flipbooks are protected by intellectual property law. Unauthorised copying or distribution may constitute copyright infringement.
6. Print Editions
PrintThe following terms apply specifically to print edition purchases:
- Print editions are dispatched to the delivery address provided at checkout. Please ensure your address is accurate — we are not responsible for non-delivery due to incorrect address information.
- Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed. Delivery times may vary depending on your location and postal service conditions.
- Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery. We recommend you inspect your order upon receipt and notify us within 7 days if the item is damaged or incorrect.
- We currently dispatch to addresses within the United Kingdom and internationally. International delivery times and any applicable customs duties are the responsibility of the buyer.
- If a print edition becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will notify you and offer a full refund or an alternative edition if available.
7. Returns and Refunds
Print If your print edition arrives damaged, defective, or is incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at press@palmsmagazine.com with your order number and a description or photograph of the issue. We will offer a replacement or full refund at our discretion, including any return postage costs.
Digital Refunds for digital editions are not available once the content has been accessed or downloaded, unless the content is faulty or not as described. If you experience a technical issue preventing access, please contact us and we will resolve it promptly.
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of the refund being agreed.
8. Intellectual Property
All content published in The Palms Magazine — including but not limited to editorial text, photography, design, layout, illustrations, and branding — is the intellectual property of The Palms Magazine or its contributors and is protected by UK and international copyright law.
You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, transmit, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written permission. Personal use for private, non-commercial purposes is permitted.
The Palms Magazine name, logo, and associated trademarks are the property of The Palms Magazine. Unauthorised use is strictly prohibited.
9. Acceptable Use
When using our website or accessing our content, you agree not to:
- Use our website or content for any unlawful purpose
- Copy, reproduce, or redistribute digital content without authorisation
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website or systems
- Upload or transmit any malicious software or harmful content

10. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable UK law.
Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the price paid for the product in question.

Your use of our website and purchase of our products is also governed by our Privacy & Cookie Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If we are unable to resolve a dispute, you may also seek alternative dispute resolution through a certified ADR provider or contact the relevant UK consumer authority.
